What People Are Saying
“Holly is the most wonderful teacher and human! She sees you as a whole person, meets you where you are, is curious, fun and creative in her approach, and really knows her stuff. If you have a trauma history, you will be very safe in Holly's hands.
After 10 years of doing Pilates with Holly, including through pregnancies and post-partum periods, I wholeheartedly recommend her.”
— Verity B, Melbourne
“Holly has been my pilates instructor for ten years, and thanks to her instruction, I’m stronger and more flexible than when I was ten years younger. I look forward to every class.
As a dancer, choreographer and student of human movement, she is fluent in many modalities from classical pilates to more exploratory practices, which she puts together in creative combinations. She always meets me where I am emotionally and physically.
She can adapt and adjust a class in the moment – sometimes to push into new territory, other times to be gentle and do less. Her knowledge of anatomy, and her careful observations and instructions, bring new awareness to habitual ways of moving.
She is patient, kind, funny, curious, observant and humble. I regard her as an expert in pilates and the time I spend with her is very precious.”
— Lailani B, Melbourne
I'm truly thankful for the incredible experience I've had learning Pilates from Holly. When I moved back to Australia from New York, I made the shift from Yoga to Pilates to address persistent back issues and sciatica.
What makes Holly's classes so special goes beyond the physical benefits—it's the enjoyable and engaging atmosphere she cultivates. Holly brings infectious enthusiasm and a wealth of Pilates knowledge to every session, making each one a genuine joy to attend. Her knack for tailoring workouts to individual needs ensures that each class is a unique and fulfilling experience.
Thanks to Holly's personalized approach, not only has my pain diminished, but I've also become noticeably stronger. I can't recommend Holly enough for those seeking a holistic and enjoyable fitness journey.”

Pilates, what or who is it?
The Pilates Method is a unique and highly sophisticated form of integrative exercise pioneered over a century ago by Joseph Pilates. Initially called "Contrology," Pilates emphasizes the complete coordination of body, mind, and spirit. Sessions are delivered on specially designed apparatus and the traditional mat and focus on the fundamental principles of breathing, control, centring, concentration, precision, and flow. These guiding tenets are used to craft personalized movement programs that improve strength, flexibility, posture, and balance. Pilates can also improve wellbeing through increasing energy, reducing stress, improving circulation, and promoting correct breathing and hormonal balance. The method is adaptable to anyone, regardless of their experience or capability.
“Change happens through movement and movement heals” ~ Joseph Pilates
